Ayatollah Khamenei Highlights Al-Aqsa Storm's Disruption of American Policies, Condemns Israeli Atrocities in Gaza

In a meeting with hundreds of members of Iran's Basij volunteer forces in Tehran on Wednesday, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, expressed his views on the historic Hamas' Al-Aqsa Storm.

Iran (IMNA) - He emphasized that while the event was primarily directed against the Zionist regime, its broader aim was to de-Americanize the region. Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted the significant impact the Storm had in disrupting American policies in the region and expressed hope that it would ultimately erase their "agenda."

Regarding the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that these actions not only brought disgrace upon the Israeli regime but also upon the United States, certain European countries, and Western culture and civilization as a whole. He condemned the barbaric and cruel nature of the crimes committed by the Zionist regime, stating that they not only tarnished the reputation of the regime but also that of the United States and several renowned European countries. Furthermore, he criticized Western culture and civilization for defending such actions, emphasizing that it had been discredited through its support for the killing of innocent children with phosphorus bombs.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution concluded by stating that the Israeli atrocities in Gaza over the past 50 days were a representation of the regime's long-standing crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a recent address, Ayatollah Khamenei, the leader of Iran, criticized the Zionist regime in Palestine, calling their actions over the past 75 years a series of crimes. Referring to the tragedies that have occurred in the last 50 days, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that they are just a small part of the ongoing oppression.

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed the Islamic Republic's belief in a referendum in Palestine based on the Palestinian public opinion. Furthermore, he criticized the United States for its failed attempts to implement a "New Middle East" agenda. He highlighted that the so-called "two-state solution" proposed by the US was part of this failed policy.

Discussing Lebanon, Ayatollah Khamenei revealed that the US had intended to reshape the Middle East according to its own interests. However, their plans did not materialize. Despite their efforts to destroy Hezbollah and gain control over Syria through proxies such as Daesh and al-Nusra, their ambitions were thwarted.

The Leader emphasized that Western plots against the region had been unsuccessful, including their attempts to eliminate the Palestinian cause in favor of the Israeli regime. He accused them of reneging on the treacherous "two-state" solution they previously endorsed.
