Ayatollah Khamenei Commends Unbelievable Achievements of Iran Navy Since 1979 Revolution

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, expressed his admiration for the remarkable accomplishments of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Iran (IMNA) - During a meeting with a gathering of Navy commanders and officials on Tuesday, on the occasion of Iranian Navy Day, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the unprecedented progress made by the Navy.

He highlighted that in the initial years after the Revolution, it was inconceivable for the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy to operate beyond territorial waters. However, he proudly stated that the Navy has now gained the ability to circumnavigate the globe, demonstrating its strength and prowess.

Ayatollah Khamenei further described the Navy's advances since the 1979 Islamic Revolution as unbelievable and remarkable. He called upon the authorities to focus their efforts on transforming the Iranian Army's naval division into a comprehensive strategic force.

Ayatollah Khamenei acknowledged the remarkable progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy. Highlighting the unforeseen presence of Iranian destroyers in the Caspian Sea, he emphasized the significant advancements made in naval capabilities. His remarks came during a ceremony held on Monday, where the newly-developed destroyer, named Deylaman, was officially introduced to Iran's northern naval fleet. This domestically-designed and manufactured vessel is intended to bolster security measures in the Caspian Sea region.
