Ayatollah Khamenei Declares Israel Defeated in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm

In a meeting with Iranian athletes, sports personalities, and medal winners who participated in the 2023 Asian Games, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, announced that Israel had been "knocked out" in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. This operation, carried out by Palestinian resistance groups, marked the largest military offensive against the occupying regime.

Iran (IMNA) -Ayatollah Khamenei commended the athletes who demonstrated their support for Palestine by refusing to compete against representatives of the occupying regime in international tournaments. He emphasized that their actions now hold even greater significance following Israel's atrocities in Gaza.

"The Iranian athlete will not agree to face the Zionist side on the field because they would be aiding a criminal and terrorist regime," stated the Leader. He further praised the efforts of Hamas, highlighting their success in dealing a decisive blow to the usurping Zionists despite not having the same resources as a government or country.

The global recognition of the athletes' stance reflects the growing realization of why supporting the criminal state of Israel is unacceptable. Ayatollah Khamenei expressed his gratitude to those who expressed solidarity with Palestine, emphasizing that the truth behind their actions is now more evident than ever before.

Ayatollah Khamenei Declares Israel Defeated in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm

Ayatollah Khamenei expressed his concern over the dire situation in Gaza following the heavy defeat of the Israeli regime in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. The Leader emphasized that despite their attempts to flex their muscles, the Israeli regime's show of power holds no value when it comes to addressing the pressing needs of hospitals, schools, and homeless individuals in Gaza.

Drawing an analogy, Ayatollah Khamenei likened the Israeli regime's actions to those of a disgruntled athlete who, after losing on the field, retaliates by attacking and insulting opposing team's fans. He underscored the ignominy of Israel's relentless shelling campaign in Gaza over the past 47 days, stating that such actions only serve to shorten the lifespan of the occupying regime. He firmly asserted that the tyranny and cruelty inflicted by the Israeli regime will not go unanswered.

Additionally, the Leader criticized the politicization of sports and the double standards exhibited by certain international organizations. He pointed out the hypocrisy of claiming that sports should remain apolitical while simultaneously imposing bans on countries for their involvement in conflicts, yet turning a blind eye to the plight of the 5,000 innocent children who lost their lives in Gaza. The Ayatollah stressed the need for consistency in addressing war crimes and genocide, urging the international community to refrain from selective judgment.
