Turkey Halts Joint Energy Projects with Israel, Shifts Focus to Providing Aid to Gaza Amidst Ongoing Conflict

The Turkish Minister of Energy, Alparslan Bayraktar, has announced that Turkey has halted all joint energy projects with Israel.

Iran (IMNA) - According to reports, the minister stated that it would be inappropriate to continue these projects given the current circumstances.

Instead, the focus will be on providing electricity and water to Gaza. Bayraktar emphasized that discussing any other projects during this time would be disrespectful to humanity and the people in Palestine. It is worth noting that Bayraktar had planned a visit to occupied Palestine in November.

The recent conflict between Israel and Palestine, triggered by the Palestinian Resistance groups' Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, has resulted in a significant loss of life and a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Despite international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli regime has continued its attacks, targeting medical and educational facilities.
