Iran Condemns Israeli Attack on Gaza Refugee Camp, Calls for International Action

In a strong denouncement, Iran has condemned the recent attack by the Israeli regime on the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

Iran (IMNA) - The assault, which resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of Palestinians, has been labeled as a massacre and another addition to the long list of war crimes committed by the Zionist regime.

The airstrikes carried out by Israel targeted the camp, causing significant casualties, particularly among women and children. Residential homes were hit by United States-made bombs, leading to the destruction of an entire residential complex. Iyad al-Bazum, spokesman for Gaza's interior ministry, emphasized the urgency for the international community to intervene, stating that immediate action is necessary to prevent further Israeli aggression.

According to the Palestinian ministry, the ongoing war has already claimed the lives of more than 8,600 Palestinians, with over 23,000 others wounded. These figures do not include the casualties resulting from the Israeli attack on Jabaliya. Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan'ani urged the international community, specifically the United Nations and its Security Council, to fulfill their duty and promptly halt the killing machine of the apartheid Zionist regime.
