Iranian Intelligence Forces Foil MKO Terrorist Activities, Arrest 19 Members in Southeastern Iran

Iranian intelligence forces successfully apprehended 19 members of the notorious anti-Iran terrorist group, Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), in Southeastern Iran.

Iran (IMNA) - The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in the province executed a coordinated operation after closely monitoring the movements of the MKO members. These individuals were engaged in inciting riots, vandalizing public property, attacking security forces and police headquarters, and promoting hate-driven slogans during Friday prayers. The MKO, also known as the Hypocrites, has a long history of terrorism, having assassinated over 17,000 Iranian civilians since the 1979 Revolution. Taking advantage of the recent unrest in Sistan and Baluchestan, the group has been actively involved in violent protests and clashes with security forces in the region.
