IRGC Naval Drill in Persian Gulf Shows Support for Gaza Strip

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) conducted a significant naval drill on Saturday, showing its support for the people of the Gaza Strip. Rear Admiral Ali Bakhshaei, the commander of the Basij Third Naval District of the IRGC Navy in the north of the Persian Gulf, announced the exercise during a press conference held on the sidelines of the event.

Iran (IMNA) - The naval drill took place in multiple locations, including Ahvaz, Hendijan, Arvandkanar, and the naval base of Imam Hassan Mojtabi (AS). Rear Admiral Bakhshaei emphasized that the purpose of the exercise was to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. The participating vessels displayed the flags of Iran, Palestine, and the Resistance Front, symbolizing their commitment to defending the rights of the Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, health officials in the besieged Gaza Strip reported the devastating impact of the Israeli bombardment. Since October 7, when Hamas launched a large-scale attack against the occupying Israeli regime, at least 4,137 individuals have lost their lives, while another 13,162 have been injured. The situation in Gaza remains dire as the conflict continues to escalate.
