Iran to make great investment in children's cinema

The Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated during the opening of the 35th International Film Festival for Children and Youth that Iran will make a great investment in the field of children's cinema.

Iran (IMNA) - According to the Young Journalists Committee of the 35th International Children and Youth Film Festival, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, added that the festival is a chance to gather the children and exchange Iranian culture and art among them.

“Today, Iran's Islamic Revolution, with a span of more than forty years, has raised great children in every period and generation. Iran has been the cradle of high-ranking martyrs, great men and women who marked our proud history,”’ he asserted.
“Isfahan, the capital of the culture of martyrdom, has 24 thousand great martyrs. Each one of them shows the way for a progressing society, like a burning torch; heroes such as martyr Kharazi, martyr Kazemi, martyr Diari, and martyr Redanipour”, Esmaili added.

Addressing the young judges and journalists of the festival, the minister noted that, “Today, you are the great treasure of this country. We in the government have built our foundation by placing the field of culture and art in our main position. There are many problems in this field that require modification and improvement”.
“We see the festival as an important step in the beginning of a bright path, and we will make a big investment in the field of children's films”, he emphasized.
The 35th International Film Festival for Children and Youth is taking place in Isfahan from October 7 to 12, 2023.
