Intl. Film Festival for Children and Youth is a historical identity for Isfahan: Mayor

The mayor of Isfahan said that the International Film Festival for Children and Youth (ICFF), which is hosted 23 times by Isfahan, has turned from a simple event into a historical identity for the city, and the people of Isfahan remember their past three decades of memories with this festival.

Iran(IMNA) - Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Ali Ghasemzadeh noted “Over one thousand children and youth play an active role in the festival as a jury or reporters”.

According to the Young Journalists Committee of the 35th International Children and Youth Film Festival, during this conference, Majid Zainolabedin, the secretary of the festival, spoke about the latest news of the film screening, artwork competition, international workshops, etc.
“The 559 works from 40 countries compete in the festival: 359 Iranian films and 200 ones from Argentina, Iraq, Canada, France, Belgium, Germany, China, South Korea, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Peru, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, America, and the Czech Republic" Zainolabedin said.
He also introduced the jury board of the international feature film as follows: Marzieh Boroumand and Ali Reza Khamseh from Iran, Monica Wahi from India, Yerji Mosković from Poland, Dragan Milinković Femon from Serbia, Melika Zairi from France, and Jun Juang from China.
Also, Hadi Mohammadian from Iran, Hakmat Matshar Majidul Baidan from Iraq, Athina Ridaki from Greece, Khatam Seyyed Abd al-Kader from Oman, and Maria Bezenkova from Russia are members of the jury board of the international short and animation section of the festival.
The 35th International Festival of Children and Youth Films will take place in Isfahan from October 7 to 12, 2023.
