The three-day exhibition, considered one of the largest pharmaceutical events in West Asia, concluded successfully. Mohammadi expressed his satisfaction with this year's exhibition, which showcased the pharmaceutical capabilities of Iran and garnered visits from high-ranking officials. According to Mohammadi, a total of 427 Iranian companies and 282 foreign companies from 33 countries participated in the event.

The official expressed their intention to improve the availability of high-quality medicines to the people in the region through the G5 meeting and regional cooperation. This initiative, which began in June 2005, was initiated by Iran and involves Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan due to their historical, geographical, and cultural ties as well as shared health challenges. The World Health Organization (WHO) is also a member of this initiative, which aims to strengthen subregional cooperation among its members. Tajikistan has joined as an observer, supporting the G5 mechanism's mission of collaborative efforts to address common health issues.

Every September, Iran Pharma Expo is organized by the Iranian Pharmaceutical Industries Syndicate in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. This international event serves as a platform for pharmaceutical manufacturers, equipment and machinery providers, printing and packaging companies, producers of herbal medicine, food and dietary supplements, knowledge-based enterprises, and pharmaceutical distributors. It offers an excellent opportunity to showcase the expertise and capabilities of professionals in the thriving world of pharmaceutical industries on a global scale.
