Iran actively seeking opportunities to export petrochemical services to Venezuela, Brazil

Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has developed a plan to provide technical services to Venezuela and Brazil, according to the production control manager.

Iran (IMNA) - Customers from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the U.S. have shown interest in Iran's petrochemical products, prompting the company to enter the Latin American market as part of its energy diplomacy efforts.

The manager emphasized that Iran's petrochemical industry, which celebrates its 60th anniversary, demonstrates the country's economic strength by successfully competing in international markets despite political attitudes and sanctions from rivals.

Despite facing restrictions and obstacles, Persian Gulf Holding remains a key player, accounting for 40 percent of the country's petrochemical sales. The manager further highlighted Iran's self-sufficiency in producing strategic equipment and catalysts, with over 90 percent of catalyst technical knowledge and production being attained domestically.
