Iran (IMNA) - During a meeting with thousands of people from Sistan and Baluchestan and South Khorasan in Tehran, he emphasized that the arrogant power of America and certain European countries is diminishing and will continue to do so.
According to the Ayatollah, the United States is actively attempting to exploit Iran's ethnic and sectarian differences in order to create a crisis within the country.
He revealed that the American government has formed a crisis group whose objective is to identify and exploit these points of division.
These include ethnic disparities, religious variations, and gender issues. However, Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed these efforts as nothing more than a delusion, comparing them to camels dreaming of cotton seeds. It is worth noting that approximately a year ago, Iran experienced a series of subversive actions, including riots under the pretext of women's rights, following the tragic death of a young girl from Iran's Kurdistan region.
This incident was seized upon by subversive elements in Sistan and Baluchestan and Kurdistan, leading to months of unrest. Both Sistan and Baluchestan and Iranian Kurdistan have significant populations of Baluch and Sunni residents, in addition to their respective ethnic majorities.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the seriousness of both the enemy's enmity and their plans, while also highlighting the determination of Iran to confront and counteract these threats.
According to Ayatollah Khamenei, the enemy has specifically targeted national unity and national security as their objectives. However, he urged the people to stand united against the enemy's plans, setting aside religious, political, group, and ethnic differences for the sake of the nation's interests.
The Leader stressed the importance of unity, emphasizing that people from different ethnicities and religious backgrounds should come together. He highlighted the significance of a clear direction in achieving this unity.
Regarding national security, Ayatollah Khamenei identified those who pose a threat to it as enemies of the nation. He stated that these individuals, whether they realize it or not, are essentially working for the enemy.
