Iran (IMAN) - During a conference in Tehran, the senior diplomats from Iran and Turkey discussed a variety of topics.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the foreign minister of Iran, welcomed his Turkish colleague Hakan Fidan in Tehran on Sunday.
The two sides spoke about significant subjects of shared interest as well as local problems and global events during their discussion.
Fidan is in Tehran for the first time since being named the foreign minister of Turkey in June.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a news statement on Saturday that the visit "will render the opportunity to discuss the possibilities for further advancing our bilateral cooperation with Iran in all fields and to exchange views on current regional and international developments."
