Monday morning early, Mousavi said that four people connected to the event had been detained, adding that they were all of foreign descent.
He said that the main terrorist, who opened fire on pilgrims within the shrine and was quickly apprehended, had been given over to detectives for additional questioning.
On Sunday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi commanded Fars Province Governor Mohammad Hadi Imaniyeh and Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi to immediately find and punish the terrorist attack's perpetrators.
Last year, Armed terrorists carried out a similar attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz.
