Following terrorist attack at Iran's Shah Cheragh shrine, another guy martyred from his wounds

In the most recent terrorist assault on the Shah Cheragh shrine in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz, a man who suffered significant injuries was martyred, increasing the total of those killed in the atrocity to two.

Iran (IMNA) - According to Kazem Mousavi, chief justice of Fars Province, the guy, who was in critical condition, passed away from his wounds earlier in the day.

A terrorist opened fire on the sacred site on Sunday night, leaving one person dead and 10 others injured.

Monday morning early, Mousavi said that four people connected to the event had been detained, adding that they were all of foreign descent.

He said that the main terrorist, who opened fire on pilgrims within the shrine and was quickly apprehended, had been given over to detectives for additional questioning.

On Sunday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi commanded Fars Province Governor Mohammad Hadi Imaniyeh and Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi to immediately find and punish the terrorist attack's perpetrators.

Last year, Armed terrorists carried out a similar attack on the Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz.
