Isfahan to host Mustafa Prize Award Ceremony 2023

The Mustafa Prize Award Ceremony will take place in Isfahan in October 2023.

Iran (IMNA) - In four categories—life and medical science and technology, nanoscience and nanotechnology, information and communication science and technology, and basic and applied engineering—the Mustafa Prize, a prestigious science and technology award, is bestowed every two years to the best scholars and researchers in the Islamic world.

Scientists from Islamic countries, regardless of their connection with a particular religion, will also be awarded prizes in this round of the Mustafa (PBUH) Prize in order to push forward science and technology in these countries.

Only eminent scientists and/or one of the following scientific organizations are permitted to suggest candidates: universities and research centers, science and technology associations and centers of excellence, academies of sciences, and science and technology parks.

More than 400 benefactors from various countries who are members of the Khadem Al-Mustafa (PBUH) community have so far supported this scientific-cultural movement. The prize features the Mustafa (PBUH) Medal, the Prize Certificate, and a special gift of cash that is provided from the endowment of science and technology.

The Mustafa Prize aims to promote and encourage scientific research and innovation in the Islamic world, which has a rich history of scientific advancements. The prize winners are selected by a committee of experts from around the world based on their contributions to their respective fields.

Mostafa Nabatinejad, the head of the research center for the Islamic City Council of Isfahan, tweeted the announcement, which reads as follows:
