Iran's, Turkey's foreign ministers emphasized their closer ties

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Turkish counterpart stressed the importance of stronger bilateral cooperation between the two nations based on the desire of the two presidents.

Iran (IMNA) - In a phone chat with his Turkish counterpart on Wednesday evening, Iran's foreign minister congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdoan on his recent presidential election victory as well as the Justice and Development Party's (AKP) parliamentary election triumph.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries will expand under the next government based on the intentions and of the two presidents.

He also congratulated Mevlut Cavusoglu on his win as an AKP representative in the Turkish parliamentary elections and stressed the need of collaboration between the two nations in numerous domains.

He also mentioned Erdoan's invitation to Raeisi to attend the Turkish President's inauguration ceremony and declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran will participate at the highest level.

Çavuşoğlu stressed that in the next administration, he will attempt to build collaboration with Iran in whatever role and post he holds because Turkey's connections with Iran are critical.
