Iranian President Raeisi calls for immediate measures to strengthen ties with Muslim bordering states

Iran's president, Ebrahim Raeisi, has urged the administration to take more proactive steps to enhance relations with Muslim nations and its neighbors.

Iran (IMNA) -Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, has stressed the importance of Iran's international ties, according to Raeisi, who made this statement during a cabinet meeting on Sunday.

Although relations with the target countries have greatly improved in less than two years, the president said that with the current capabilities, they might still be even better.

The Leader spoke to a group of Foreign Ministry officials and ambassadors to various nations in Tehran on Saturday. Ayatollah Khamenei warned of adversaries' efforts to sour ties between Iran and its neighbors.

Iran has broad boundaries with its neighbors, as the Leader mentioned. The government's strategy for successful communication with the surrounding nations, according to Ayatollah Khamenei, is of utmost importance.

In his remarks on Sunday, President Raeisi praised the Iranian Navy's 86th flotilla of vessels for completing its task after traveling across the globe in a "honorable and proud" manner.

According to the Iranian president, the operation demonstrated "the strength and power of the Navy and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran," which "deserves gratitude."

The Makran forward base ship and Dena destroyer, both produced domestically, made up the flotilla of the Iranian Navy that reached Iranian national waters on May 17 after traveling a total of 63,000 nautical miles (or 360 degrees) around the world and 63,000 kilometers of sea routes.

On September 20, 2022, the fleet departed for a voyage around the globe from Bandar Abbas, a port city in southern Iran.
