Iran's cutting-edge weaponry "game changer" in international relations

The head of Iran’s Defense Ministry department for International Affairs has praised the country's excellent weapon manufacturing expertise, saying Iranian guns are now seen as a "game changer" in the international arena.

Iran (IMNA) - According to Second Brigadier General Hamzeh Qalandari, the world was taken aback by Iranian armaments following the relaxation of a 13-year UN arms embargo in October 2020.

He told IRNA, "A country that had challenges in every field and was barred from using any technology has today come to the cutting edge of technology, with its weaponry being referred to as 'game changers' in international media."

Following the lifting of the sanctions, numerous states purchased Iranian weaponry or upgraded and rebuilt their own military systems utilizing Iranian technology and apparatus.

The armed forces are now self-sufficient thanks to extraordinary advancements made in recent years by Iranian military specialists and engineers in the manufacture of a wide variety of indigenous equipment.

Iranian government representatives have made it quite clear that their country would never yield to pressure to pare back its military plans, particularly its missile capability, which is only intended for defense.

The defense source further pointed out that the whole community now recognizes that Iran fought a legitimate war against terrorism and that General Qassem Soleimnai, who was slain by the US, was its finest commander.
