Iran successfully ests homegrown aero engine

The aircraft engine, which was entirely made in Iran, was successfully tested on Monday in front of the Iranian President at the MAPNA Industrial Group.

Iran (IMNA) - During Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi's visit to the MAPNA Company on the occasion of International Workers' Day, the experts of MAPNA Industrial Group tested the completely Iranian engine and the control system of the air engine, which were made by the reverse engineering method.

The President visited the display of MAPNA Group's technical accomplishments in thermal and renewable power plants, oil and gas, rail transportation, service and overhaul, air engines, automobile electrification, smart technologies, energy-intensive sectors, health, water, and so on.

Raeisi also paid a visit to the all-Iranian sophisticated F-class gas turbine for energy production, whose innovative and high-tech parts are manufactured in the nation by MAPNA Company and the parts supply chain.

Raeisi also visited the MAP24 locomotive, which was conceived and manufactured by MAPNA Group experts.

The President made a point of leveraging the company's locomotive training center as well as local manufacturing to address the country's need for locomotives during the visit.

Raeisi then toured the electric vehicle drive system, which included buses, passenger cars, and freight vehicles developed and manufactured by MAPNA Group.
