Iran's oil output fell marginally in March to 2.567 million barrels per day

According to data from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Iran's oil output in March remained nearly unchanged from February.

Iran (IMNA) - According to numbers detailed in a Saturday article by the ILNA news agency, Iran produced 2.567 million barrels per day of crude oil in March, a decrease of 8,000 bpd from February.

The lower output paralleled a 0.29% fall in OPEC oil production in March.

According to OPEC figures, the average price of Iranian Heavy crude grade hit $78.8 per barrel in March, down from $81.88 per barrel in February.

In accordance with OPEC predictions, global demand for crude oil would average 101.89 million bpd, up 2.33% over last year's average demand.
