US's strategy of sanctions is bound to failure

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's Foreign Minister, has slammed the United States' strategy of imposing sanctions on other countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran and many South American countries, saying such a policy is bound to failure.

Iran (IMNA) - Iranian Foreign Minister also criticized Washington's meddling in Cuban internal affairs and its attempt to incite instability in the Central American country on July 11, 2022.

He went on to say that Tehran-Havana ties are at an all-time high since both nations share similar viewpoints and endeavor to achieve the same objectives in their efforts to maintain independence and reject unilateralism.

The Iranian delegation's visit to Cuba was welcomed by the Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, who emphasized that Cuba prioritizes its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Amir-Abdollahian met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel upon his arrival in Cuba. Iran's Foreign Minister had already visited Nicaragua and Venezuela as part of his Central and South American tour.
