The CEO of Isfahan and Suburbs Bus Company stated, “Compared to the Mazut burning in Isfahan power plant, the traffic of cars without technical inspection, the use of polluting fuels, and extra travels through the city, the contribution of transit buses to urban air pollution is too small.”

He added, “to receive a periodic vehicle inspection pass, transit buses are regularly sent to the heavy vehicles technical inspection centers. 20 to 25 of transit buses are inspected daily in Isfahan, and if a bus fails the inspection process, the mechanical problems will be diagnosed and further technical examination will be implemented.”
