Iran (IMNA) - Reffering to the bilateral relationships, and the common areas of interest between the two cities that form the basis of the twinning agreement, the Mayor of Bandar Abbas said, "under the terms of the contract that have been agreed upon, measures like sharing information and experiences, holding training cources in urban planning and management, urban services, waste management, environment, sustainable development, development of urban infrastructures, transportation and traffic, architecture and urbanization, socio-cultural and welfare affairs, entrepreneurship and job creation have been taken into consideration. "
Emphasizing that this memorandum of understanding is founded on the laws and regulations of both countries as well as international obligations, he expressed his hope that positive changes will be occured for both sides if good grounds will be provided.
"In response to the appeal of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and the President of Nicaragua to strengthen international relations and mutual trust, a cooperation document has been signed between the two countries," Salehi, Iran’s ambassador to Nicaragua pointed out.
Isaac Lenin Bravo, the ambassador of Nicaragua to Iran, said, “we are looking for further cooperation which is considered as a priority for Nicaraguan government. Our partnership will be accelerated by signing this memorandum of understanding, and great events will happen afterwards. "
Stressing that both cities are teaming up to expand their relations, Absalon Martinez, the Mayor of Corinto, remarked, "this partnership agreement will strengthen connections in industrial, commercial, tourism and economical fields. The content of this document indicates the expansion of international communication between the two cities which benefits the citizens; Indeed, we are taking steps to strengthen the ties."
