The short film is in line with the teachings of ethics and compassion to show productions and transactions in the field of thought, literature, and art of Islamic Iran as well as discovering this phenomenon.
Congratulating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), we start the 38th Tehran International Short Film Festival with the help of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In the light of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian Youth Cinema Association has taken new steps, and for the first time in the history of Iranian cinema, the Tehran International Short Film Festival has been approved by the Academy Awards, popularly known as the OSCARS. This enunciates the influence of young filmmakers and the movement in the path of development and the welcome of different nations to attend this international cinematic event.
Now, to take firm steps for a better future, we must know the past correctly, and at the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the Islamic Republic and the second step of the revolution, a significant gathering of young thinkers and cultural creators is certainly a great wealth for the country.

Tehran International Short Film Festival is a precious treasure that has been expanded by the youth and is a venue for the wisdom of the youth.
Presided by Sadegh Mousavi, the 38th Tehran international short film festival will be held between 19-24 October in Tehran, Iran. Since 2020, Tehran international short film festival is considered as an OSCAR® qualifying film festival by ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES.
