Isfahan's deprived children to take benefit of Film Festival for Children and Youth

The Deputy Mayor of Isfahan for Urban Planning and Architecture said, "Concurrent with the 34th International Film Festival for Children and Youth, series of events focusing on happiness, entertainment, health and culture topics will be held in deprived areas. "

Iran (IMNA) - Vahid Mahdavian noted, "unveiling a book on children's rights, launching up a creative playground in Laleh Park located in Isfahan's municipal district 10, displaying puppet shows and street performances, holding various competitions and distribution of 1000 packages of intellectual games and educational tools in four age categories among children and adolescents are among the measures that will be taken by the Municipaity to celebrate the 34th International Film Festival for Children and Youth in low- income area.”

The Deputy Mayor of Isfahan for Urban Planning and Architecture continued, "In this Film Festival, not only the title of “Children” is being used, but also the festival is for children in a real sense; so, they are in charge of the festival who can bring cinemas into the urban environment with unity and cohesion."

He emphasized, “we should take the cinema to the less privileged neighborhoods of the city and provide the ground for the disabled, the blind and the children who are not able to participate in person in the festival.”

Mahdavian addressed the important goal of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth that is the creation of a strong bridge between the children of Isfahan and other cities across Iran, follows by strengthening the culture of dialogue between Iranian children and others from various nations to promote world peace.
