Iran (IMNA) - Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education reported 27579 new coronavirus cases, while as many as 583 more people died of the disease in the past 24 hours.
Patients in hospital with Coronavirus stood at 3,973 on Monday. 7628 admissions to intensive care units have been registered across the country.
A total of 111,257 deaths linked to Covid-19 have been registered in Iran since its outbreak emerged.
Iran has extended covid-19 restrictions in the country in an effort to contain the delta variant.
