Over 36,000 new cases reported in last 24 hours

Iran reported 36,419 new COVID-19 cases and 684 new death, according to state health department data released Sunday.

Iran (IMNA) - The coronavirus pandemic has claimed the lives of over 4,439,092 people and infected 212,249,522 across the world.

SIran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education annouced on Sunday that 684 more Iranians have died as a result of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours bringing the country’s total deaths to 102,038.

36,419 new coronavirus infections have been identified over the past 24 hours, some 5,007 of whom have been hospitalized.

There have been nearly 4,677,114 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 212 million and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at 4,4 however, more than 189 million people have recovered.
