Iran (IMNA) - The documentary "Holy Bread", the latest work of the late Rahim Zabihi, produced by Touraj Aslani and produced by the film company "MAAd Movie"; in its latest and eighth international presence on behalf of Iranian cinema, in the official section of the "Asian Competition" in the 13th International Documentary Film Festival "DMZ" was accepted as the most important Asian documentary film festival and to win the award of this festival, will compete with works from several countries including Japan, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and India.

The documentary highlights the dangerous work of Kurdish Kulbars.
Kulbars are workers who transport heavy goods on foot across the Iranian border passing through rocky, steep and slippery mountainous pathways to make a living to support their families.
DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs) is a Korean film festival for documentaries, jointly presented by Paju and Goyang in Gyeonggi Province.
Launched in 2009, it is held annually for seven days in September/October less than twenty kilometers from the Korean Demilitarized Zone, and showcases films dealing with "peace, coexistence and reconciliation.
The 13th DMZ Docs will take place on 9th-16th September 2021. It is the largest festival of its kind in Asia, aiming to introduce outstanding documentaries as well as to support talented filmmakers and promising projects to be discovered by a wider audience.
The 13th DMZ Docs with the theme of peace, coexistence and reconciliation will take place on 9th-16th September 2021 with the support of "Gyeonggi-do", the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Film Council. Some 130 documentaries from 40 countries will be screened in Goyang, Megabox and Baekseok cinemas in the cities of Goyang and Guangzhou in South Korea.
