94,015 Iranians lost their lives due to coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic caused by the new respiratory virus‌‌‌‌‌‌ has killed over 4,304,613 people and infected 203,198,561 worldwide; Coronavirus cases continue to surge in Iran with hospitals in most provinces reporting new records with regularity.

Iran (IMNA) - Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced that 542 more Iranians have lost their lives as a result of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours taking the country’s tally of total deaths to 94,015.

39619 new coronavirus infections were detected over the past 24 hours.

There have been nearly 4,158,729 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran, 3539035 of whom cured or discharged from the hospitals.

The all-out-efforts of Iranian officials have focused on taking measures to curb the outbreak and prevent further spread.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 203 million and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at least 4,3 million; however, more than 182 million people have been recovered.
