Lifetime free credit card to be provided for disabled

Isfahan's Deputy Mayor for Transportation and Traffic announced the provision of a Lifetime Free Credit Card calling "Isfahan Card" to the disabled living in the metropolis.

Iran (IMNA) - "In recent years, there has been conversations on providing lifetime free credit cards to citizens with disabilities in Isfahan. Within the next month, the problems hindering the implementation of the project will be removed and registration processes of this walks of life will be started," Masoud Bandekhoda said.

He pointed out, "As reported by recent investigations, about 42,000 disabled people (ranging from mild to severe) live in Isfahan; so, we need to provide a platform for the presence of this walks of life in society."

Deputy Mayor of Isfahan for Transportation and Traffic said, "the municipality must provide accessible modes of transportation to individuals with disabilities according to the " Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act."

The Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act provides more independence and choice to people with disabilities. This law is the foundation of Isfahan’s plan to improve developmental services for this group of society.
