Iran registered 8161 new confirmed coronavirus cases

Iran recorded 8161 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, along with 111 deaths from COVID-19, Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced on Saturday.

Iran (IMNA) - Iran has registered more than 3,095,135 cases of the virus since the pandemic emerged, while the official death toll has climbed to 82,965 according to ministry data.

8161 new cases of coronavirus infections have been discovered over the past 24 hours, some 944 of whom have been hospitalized.

To curb the Coronavirus, Iranian government has recommended preventive measures such as bans on inter city travels.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 179 million and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at 3,876,964; however, more than 163,548,353 million people have recovered.
