Covid 19 takes 310 more lives in Iran

According to Iran's health authorities, 13,930 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed on Monday, and another 310 Iranians have lost their life of the virus in a single day.

Iran (IMNA) - Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education announced that 310 more Iranians have died from the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours taking the cumulative number of deaths to 77,532.

13,930 new coronavirus infections were identified over the past 24 hours, of whom 2,102 have been hospitalized.

There have been nearly 2,779,415 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran, 2,258,046 of the cases cured or discharged from the hospitals.

Iran has implemented the tough preventive measures to curb the coronavirus transmission and flatten the curve of new infections.

The new respiratory virus has spread across the world, isolated billions of people into quarantine as health workforce struggle to cope.

According to Worldometers, more than 164 million people have tested positive for Covid-19 and more than 3 million people have died world-wide.
