Iran (IMNA) - Forough Mortazaeinezhad noted, "There are currently 150 species and about 20,000 cultivar of roses in the world; this flower, in colors ranging from white through yellows and reds, is native to Iran, especially to the central regions."
The CEO of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Isfahan Municipality stated, "When we talk about roses, it does not solely mean the red one, but roses with different colors in the world; some rose cultivars, such as the white Rosa canina, enjoy an extended flowering period so that we can have them in the city blooming all season long."
She ended, "In this year's festival, rose flowers will be placed in special boxes in a space between Northern and Southern Chaharbagh Avenue."
