Iran (IMNA) - Reporting a spike of 19666 fresh cases, Iran's tally of coronavirus cases has risen to 2,049, 078.
According to Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari, the total number of recovered patients has reached to 1,702, 62.
The number of cases in Iran is still on the rise, and this is placing extreme pressure on healthcare workers in hospitals.
People should observe the regulations over the next few weeks so that the number of cases continues to reduce and that hospitals can start to recover, while the vaccination programme is currently in progress to protect the most vulnerable in our communities.
