Iran (IMNA) - The total of 63506 deaths relevant to Covid-19 has been reported since the pandemic begun in Iran .
There were also 17,430 new Covid-19 infections reported, taking the total number of cases to 1,963,364.
The number of cases is still high, and this is placing extreme pressure on healthcare workers in hospitals.
People should stick to the rules over the next few weeks so that the number of cases continues to reduce and that hospitals can start to recover, while the vaccination programme is underway to protect the most vulnerable in our communities.
