Iran (IMNA) - At the inauguration ceremony of world's first school of postal museum, the mayor of Rasht, Seyed Mohammad Ahmadi said, "Thanks to the efficient interactions that are taking shape in Gilan province; the problems faced by people, especially in the city of Rasht, can be resolved by prioritization. "
Ahmadi continued, "The old buildings along the pedestrian zone have become the identity of the city. All citizens are proud of having such assets; of course, the ultimate goal of the municipality is to make use of national and provincial capacities to preserve these buildings."
The mayor of Rasht stated, "With the follow-ups done, the historical buildings of Rasht city-- the building of the Clock Tower and the building of the cultural and sports organization-- will soon be devoted to the museum."
Emphasizing that preserving and protecting historical monuments, honoring the heritage of the past, as well as fixing the problems in these areas is the responsibility of the municipality, he pointed out," we will try to create more attractions to draw tourists and witness a well- developed city."
