Iran reports 6,207 new confirmed coronavirus cases

The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education reported 6,207 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 69 more deaths, bringing its total to 1,158,475 infections and 57,294 deaths.

Iran (IMNA) - Iran registered 69 additional deaths over the past 24 hours, according to spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Sima Sadat Lari. Since the outbreak began, nearly 1,158,475 million people have been infected and 57,294 have died.

Some Iranians are no longer adhering to preventive measures due to the good news of overall effectiveness of the home-grown vaccine.

There are still many people who are against the mask, and in favor of big gatherings. Such disobedience of COVID 19 rules is illegal, and the violators will face fines.

According to Worldometers, the number of total cases of COVID-19 across the world rose to 98,832,409 and the global deaths from the Coronavirus have also climbed to 2,118,370; however, more than 71,042,746 people have been recovered.
