There have been nearly 1,200,465 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran, 951,860 of the cases cured or discharged from the hospitals.

Lockdowns and other restrictions have been re-imposed in some of the worst-hit regions to help bring numbers down.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 80 million and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at least 1,766,171; however, more than 56,985,098 people have recovered.
