Isfahan’s autumn festival to go online

"This year, the autumn festival of leaves and colors will be held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic," the director of the Nazhvan management project said.

Iran (IMNA) - “In this festival, interested citizens can use the leaves of trees to make symbols, elements and handmade designs in their homes. They can create their own forms using the autumn leaves of their own backyard trees or local garden ones,” Seyyed Rasoul Hashemian said.

The director of the Nazhvan management project continued, "Participation in this festival is free and it is open to all walks of life; participants only need to take a photo of their artworks and post or share it on Instagram stories and add the hashtag #Autumn Colours and Leaves Festival.”

Referring to the restrictions caused by the pandemic sparked by the Coronavirus, Hashemian said, "All citizens in Isfahan are invited to participate in the competition by attending this festival virtually," Hashemian,

"Citizens have the opportunity to participate in this festival until the 21 December, 2020," he noted.

Referring to the third edition of the festival, he ended, "Last year, the Autumn Colours and Leaves Festival was performed with the participation of the Nazhvan Management Organization, the Communication and International Affairs Department at the Municipality of Isfahan and the municipal Recreation and Culture Department that cordially welcomed by the citizens.”
