Iran reports 11561 new COVID-19 cases

Cases of infection with the new Coronavirus is declining in Iran; sever restrictions have been put in place by governments to keep the virus at bay across Iran.

Iran (IMNA) - Iranian Health Ministry spokeswoman, Sima Sadat Lari, said that 294 more Iranians have lost their lives as a result of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours taking the country’s tally of total deaths to 50,310.

11561 new coronavirus infections were detected over the past 24 hours, Sadat Lari said.

There have been nearly 1,040,547 confirmed cases of coronavirus so far in Iran 730,798 of the cases cured or discharged from the hospitals.

The all-out-efforts of Iranian officials have focused on taking measures to curb the outbreak and prevent further spread.

According to Worldometers, total cases of COVID-19 worldwide have surpassed 66,968,736 and the global deaths from the virus have also surged at least 1,536,657 million; however, more than 46,351,946 million people have recovered.

Many public places such as cafes and gyms have been close; however, careless people keep traveling between cities and attending large gatherings.
