Pars-1 got through final trials

Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Mohammad Javad Azari-Jahromi said on Monday that the final trials of the country’s most advanced domestically-made remote-sensing satellite have been successfully completed.

Iran (IMNA) - Azari Jahromi made the announcement on a visit to an exhibition held in the Research Institute for Information and Communication Technology where the country's latest indigenized information technology achievements were uncovered.

He said that Pars-1 Satellite will be released to the Iranian Space Agency by next week.

The minister noted that Iranian experts of the Space Agency will focus on the engineering Nahid-2 Satellite which is a telecommunication satellite, said.

So, far Iran has shown a unique level of transparency with its space program which objectives is solely non-military purposes.
