Iran (IMNA) - "Five major development projects including the construction of Isfahan's International Conference Venue, Isfahan's International Exhibition Center and Farzanegan Road, will be put into operation by the end of this year anent the"Every Sunday, Launching a new project" plan," Ghodratollah Norouzi noted.
Referring to the International Conference Venue, he clarified, "This project was launched in 2011 and supposed to host the summit of the leaders of t he Non - Aligned Movement (NAM); the former government committed to allocate 100 billion toman to construct this complex, but it was not realized and the project remained incomplete. "
The mayor of Isfahan added, "Isfahan's current administration board has spent 400 billion toman to finish the meeting hall project, and this year 300 billion toman has been allocated to end the plan. In total, more than one thousand billion has been invested and we hope to witness the inauguration and utilization of the complex by the end of this year."
Addressing the ongoing projects, he noted, "During the present urban management of the Civil Services and Operations Organization, 700 unemployed with six-month unpaid salary arrears backed to work, and they are currently working in three shifts; such job creation has led the Municipality of Isfahan to achieve the top rank in the country regarding the realization of budget."
The mayor of Isfahan expressed hope that by the end of this year, we will witness the launching of many projects that provide new services to citizens resulting to social vitality.
