Disabled safeguarded by municipality of Isfahan

Iran (IMNA) – For most people with disabilities, support services are obligatory preconditions to live and fully participate in the community, with choices equal to others. Giving and receiving support is part of the human experience for all of us. Some people with disabilities call for specific type of support for social inclusion.

Pointing to unveiling 20 paintings created by disabled people, Hossein Kargar noted, "At the suggestion of the Isfahan's Beautification Organization, authorities at municipal district 3 have provided a space for disabled people to show off their paintings in Ferdowsi Street."

"20 valuable paintings created by disabled artists with the theme of "life is beautiful" have been installed at Ferdowsi Street in 100 meters long (at the beginning of Ferdowsi Street toward the bridge under the same name), and being displayed for citizens," he added.

Saying that installing disabled artists' paintings adds to the beauty of the city, the director of municipal district 3 noted, "Incapacitated people are supported by having provided displaying spaces to show off their artworks and offering basic facilities in this municipal district."

"Asoodeh Mava Charity safeguards the disabled in the city, and the authorities at the municipal district 3 will cooperate to have the sidewalks around the charity got accessible," he ended.
