Isfahan looking for UNICEFCFCI logo

Explaining that Isfahan's executive child friendly city initiative pursues 10 objectives, 17 strategies and 93 executive plans, deputy mayor of Isfahan for urban planning and architecture said, "Increasing safety, awareness and responsibility of families and children as well as boosting welfare and foresight opportunities for children are among the main goals of the action plan."

Iran (IMNA) - "Creating a conducive learning environment appropriate to children's growth and development, planning interactive playgrounds to children's entertainment, broad participation of citizens in the children's sector, increasing children's sense of security, paying attention to the needs and priorities of them, improving intergenerational social interactions, enhancing family relations with communities, providing equal opportunities for children in line with the principle of gender and racial equality, observing children with special needs, raising awareness and responsibility of families and children as well as boosting welfare and foresight opportunities for children are among the main goals of the CFCI action plan," Seyed Ahmad Hosseini-Nia noted. ‌‌‌‌

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Saying that Isfahan has successfully passed the pilot phase and got involved in the stage of receiving the candidacy logo as the official recognition, he pointed "receiving the UNICEFCFCI logo will be awarded only after the city successfully completes the UNICEF-led CFCI ( Child Friendly Cities Initiative) cycle.

Isfahan is paving the way to keep children healthy, happy and sociable with innovative action plans. Child-friendly design is gaining momentum in Isfahan; from community-led projects to citywide strategies, children have become the prominent subject in this historical city. ‌‌‌‌‌
