Isfahan getting closer to urban smartization

"One of the promises that the municipality of Isfahan has made to Isfahani citizens was developing a smart city and municipality; fortunately, 34 services have been made available electronically so far regarding urban planning," the mayor of Isfahan noted.

Isfahan (IMNA) - "Last week, Isfahan Municipality received two national awards in the field of energy consumption on Earth Day," Ghodratollah Norouzi said.

"According to the event promoters, it is for the first time that a municipality in the country has entered such arenas," he added.

Saying that Isfahan municipality has the highest ranking in reducing electricity consumption for water hauling engines, Norouzi noted, "the Grand award for creation, operation and provision of the necessary platform for renewable energy consumption and the development of green buildings was granted to Isfahan Municipality,

Emphasizing that getting to such valuable rankings indicates the commitment of Isfahan Municipality to reduce energy consumption, he expressed hope that implementation of thia strategy will be continued with the participation of the people, so that the city and the municipality can move towards improving productivity and agility in various fields."

"Emphasizing the municipality's efforts to develop smart services and electronic administration, Norouzi went on, " One of the promises that the municipality of Isfahan has made to Isfahani citizens was developing a smart city and municipality; fortunately, 34 services have been made available electronically so far regarding urban planning, of which 26 are related to Inquiry certification for registry offices, banks, drilling operations, and property information on urban maps."

Commemorating the Cultural Week of Isfahan, the mayor said, "The event of Isfahan's Creative Saturdays was held last week in the form of presenting ideas for urban management regarding the coronavirus pandemic, and knowledge-based companies got great presence."

He ended, "As of today, we will hold meetings with city's elites on finding creative ways to fight the coronavirus and improve the current situation."
