Disinfection of Isfahan's neighborhoods  by non-governmental organizations

The director of urban crisis management and passive defense department of Isfahan municipality said, "Disinfection of public and high risk areas in 205 neighborhoods of Isfahan is underway with the cooperation of the cultural deputy of Isfahan municipality along with the support of 166 non-governmental organizations."

Iran (IMNA) - As governments across the world work hard to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, large-scale disinfection efforts have become a must in all urban areas. Using various methods ranging from simple hand-sanitizers to drones spraying disinfectant, all people are attempting to halt the transfer of the virus by touch.

"We are carrying out disinfection procedures in the city so that all public places, city sidewalks and shopping centers have being wiped with disinfectant," Seyed Reza Jafarianfar, the director of urban crisis management and passive defense department of Isfahan municipality said.

Referring to the necessary measures that have been taken for the purposeful distribution of sanitizer products, he continued, "disinfection of equipment and screening of citizens at the entrance of Kowsar markets along with the provision of masks, gloves and disinfectant solutions are continuously done."

The director of urban crisis management and passive defense department of Isfahan municipality said, "Disinfection of public and high risk areas in 205 neighborhoods of Isfahan is underway with the cooperation of the cultural deputy of Isfahan municipality with the support of 166 non-governmental institutions."

"7000  liters of the sanitizers is consumed daily to disinfect the high risk areas in the fight against the new Coronavirus," Jafarianfar said.

"Citizens must continue to observe sanitation and personal hygiene to cut the chains of transmission," he stressed.
