Iran (IMNA) - "Isfahan's Creative Saturdays ", "Isfahan's Cultural Week" and "Isfahan's Comprehensive Plan" are the most important events of the city during the week," Ghodratollah Norouzi said.
Saying that the first event was "Isfahan's Creative Saturday", which has been started on Saturday, the mayor of Isfahan noted, "before the emergence of the Coronavirus, the municipality used to hold special programs under the title of idea cups with different themes to get the citizens' ideas; however, the recent condition caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus has led us to take advantage of Creative Saturdays. We consider creativity as an opportunity for citizens to participate for the better management of the city."
"On the first Creative Saturday of Isfahan, citizens were asked to present new ideas to organize the new post coronavirus situation in the city, so that we can overcome the problems and provide new opportunities. Today we are waiting to receive citizens' opinions and witness their valuable participation," Norouzi noted.
Referring to Isfahan's Cultural Week Norouzi continued, "Last year, after the flash floods in Khorramabad and Khuzestan provinces, Isfahan's Cultural Week programs were suspended to show sympathy with our compatriot. Now, considering that it is not possible to hold local events, and public gathering is also banned, we cannot implement these programs the same as last year. However, holding virtual events has been set to be prepared."
"The third event is the" Comprehensive Plan of Isfahan" that clarifies what the future of Isfahan will look like and how to plan to achieve the determined goals.This is for the first time in the country that the comprehensive plan of the city will be developed with the participation of citizens. Due to the given circumstances, it is not possible to implement the plan; so we ask our citizens to participate in the virtual conversations through the website www.isfahanplan.ir," the mayor emphasized.
