Isfahan to share experiences with mega cities on Coronavirus

"The management experiences and preventive measures of Isfahan Municipality to curb the Coronavirus have been shared on the website of "citiesforglobalhealth" to expand the cooperation with other cities around the world," the Director General of the Center for Communications and International Affairs of Isfahan Municipality said.

Iran (IMNA) - The website "citiesforglobalhealth" has provided a platform for metropolitan cities network to exchange experiences on Covid 19; Isfahan and Mashhad metropolises have been joined the network as members to present their experiences in this regard.

The metropolises network which is a non- governmental organization serves as the hub and platform for mega cities to connect, share experiences, and mobilize on a wide range of local and global issues, in addition to being the focal point of worldwide experience and expertise on metropolitan governance.

When the novel coronavirus outbreak started, the Metropolises Network launched a website with the aim of exchanging experiences of cities around the world regarding the coronavirus pandemic," he added.

"The management experiences and preventive measures of Isfahan Municipality to curb the Coronavirus have been shared on the website of "citiesforglobalhealth" to expand cooperation with other cities around the world," Iman Hojati, the Director General of the Center for Communications and International Affairs of Isfahan Municipality said.

He noted, "No long ago, an online meeting of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network was held with the same theme and the participation of member cities that shared their practices on the prevention and management of coronavirus disease 2019."
