Iran (IMNA) - The statement reads, “Passive Defense Organization’s biosecurity headquarters formed a coordination council during the first hours of an unknown outbreak in Wuhan and closely monitored Iran’s biosecurity situation”.
“The organization, in cooperation with a number of knowledge-based institutes, has begun attempts to investigate the origin of the disease and discover its vaccine,” the statement continued.
The organization said it stays alert until the crisis subsides and continues cooperation with other related entities regarding the issue.
The organization stressed that in the current situation, the most important recommendation against Coronavirus is to observe principles of prevention and personal hygiene.
