Iran (IMNA) - Director of "Gold Runner" Touraj Aslani who won best prize for scriptwriting of The CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI International Film Festival (CSIFF), presented his prize to Ukrainian pilot and the Iranian and foreign passengers who perished in recent plane crash in Iran.
Directed and Produced by Aslani the Gold Runner hit the silver screen in the international section of the festival and also managed to snatch the best prize for script writing by Aslanai and Hadi Naderi.
Aslani presented his prize to Volodymyr Gaponenko the pilot of Ukrainian Boeing 737-800 that crashed shortly after take-off in Iran, killing all 176 people on board.

Aslani also participate in the competition section of the " World Cinema" of 7th Duhok International Film Festival in Iraqi Kurdistan and won the New Talent Prize of the festival. He also received the plague of appreciation and "Golden Leaf" Award of Duhok International Film Festival.
